BASCHINA MARLENE DIETRICH
Undisputed icon of style, sensual and transgressive. The myth stems from that lovely approach he could have with both sexes. Marlene was “the woman that even women can worship”.
Just like the basque inspired her, four gun-shaped visible buttons and five pockets, rivets on the front.
The Marlene basque is characterized by a very inclined diagonal. The final effect appears well closed and compact.
A good fit is essential for a denim garment, and even more so for our baschins that do not represent the product in its entirety but only a part. This is why careful study has enabled us to achieve the results we have achieved. Result of careful evaluations, tests and anatomical calibrations.
The cut was designed to enhance the life, very high, wrap the pelvis and enhance the curves.
Marlene is available in black and brown.
BASCHINA HEDY LAMARR
The actress who inspired this basque fully embodies the philosophy of Dakota Wear. Dual identity, nonconformist to the point of becoming scandalous. In fact, she was the first actress to act naked at the age of 18 in the Czechoslovakian film Exstase.
An exotic, breathtaking beauty, which has relegated her to marginal roles without thickness, in stark contrast to her personality. Hedy is not just an angelic-looking actress, she is the inventor of frequency hopping. A discovery that contributed substantially to the defeat of the Nazis. A discovery that today is the basis of all wireless technology.
Our Hedy basque nonconformist to which we wanted to give a worn look, soft hand, medium wash, four closed buttons with a worn effect flap. Rivets on the front. Longer on the sides than the Marlene model, it adheres to the body by wrapping it. Very high life.
BASCHINA DORIS DAY
Solar, sweet, gracefully witty with a contagious smile. This basque was inspired by Doris Day. Simplicity with that transgressive touch that makes it unique.
The characteristic of this basques is the type of washing that leaves the natural indigo color to denim. Four bronze-colored buttons covered by a flap, yellow stitching, five pockets. A small gold-colored star is applied to the characteristic rear pockets. Very high life.
BASCHINA SHIRLEY MACLAINE
Sensual, ironic, versatile, timeless. The demonstration that beauty does not expire. She is dedicated this particular basque in Denim, with an original cut that gives it a unique fit.
Medium waist, zipper. Very short on the sides, without pockets, the result of a long process of anatomical calibrations to make the most of the proportions between the side, waist and pelvis. The typical color consumed with a slight acid aftertaste and the versatile fit that adapts to every type of physicality represent the winning combination of the Shirley model.
BASCHINA BETTE DAVIS
An immense talent, charismatic and with a powerful stage presence, he is undoubtedly one of the greatest actresses in the history of cinema.
This basque has been dedicated to her with a decisive, imposing and also ironic structure.
A v-shaped waistband, zipper, blue and ocher double stitching. Designed to give the classic tube skirt that extra touch of originality. The Bette model is able to enhance every type of body type. Band the pelvis and enhance the curves. Soft hand, smooth to the touch, faithfully follows the anatomy of the body.

INTRESTING FACTS ABOUT DENIM
Denim is a 3-thread twill weave: 2 in weft and 1 in warp. The weft is always white while the warp is dyed in indigo blue. The term right hand and left hand, on the other hand, indicates the direction of the diagonal of the fabric.
ORIGINS
Descendant of moleskin, a very resistant material produced in the XIII century, in which the weft was cotton while the warp was in linen or hemp. In the moleskin cord and weft are of the same color while in denim the weft is white and the warp is blue.
NAME
The term Jeans was coined in England which used to import significant quantities of moleskin in the sixteenth century from abroad.
The bales of moleskin were classified by the dockers to define their origin: ëholmesí meant a quality material produced in Ulm, in Sweden; and ëjeansí the one coming from Genoa, in French Genes from which the name jeans. The Americanized version of denim derives from the French city, Nimes because of the name Serge de Nimes, who used to provide the moleskin used to cover the Ligurian and French merchandise. Today denim refers to the fabric while jeans to a model of trousers (five pockets).
COLOR
Initially the Guado, a cruciferous plant, was used to extract from the leaves a blue pigment of various shades. Subsequently the Guado was replaced by the indigofera tinctoria, a shrub that exists in numerous varieties, from whose leaves the indicum was obtained, known today as the indigo color.
Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Adolf von Bayer (Nobel Prize in Chemistry) in 1887 created the synthetic indigo, much cheaper than the natural one.
Denim is dyed before weaving. In particular, only the warp is colored while the weft remains in carded raw yarn which gives it the characteristic two-tone effect. The color only lays on the outside of the wires, with a bath and oxidation process that leaves the interior all white. This is why denim color fades over time.
ARMOR
Denim is a twill weave 2X1 or 3X1, diagonal weave, the effect is produced by using frames with several groups of healds, unlike the other fabrics that have only one.
